existence of pulleys.
Although the surgeon will neither observe nor
manipulate these structures they are an
important factor in a proper diagosis in many
cases

Surgery on the horizontal rectus
muscles alone may effectively reduce vertical
incomitance. Thus, when dysfunction of the oblique
